Ur
     A city located in southern part of Chaldea. (Chaldea was later renamed Babylon.) Terah and his sons, including Abraham, lived there. One of the sons, Haran, died there. (11:28) The family lived in Ur until they relocated elsewhere. (11:31)
     (Archeologists have located the ruins of the city of Ur in southeastern Iraq, about ten miles west of the Euphrates river. The ruins of Ur are still there, but today the site is called Tell al-Mugayyar.)

Uz - There are two:
     1. A child of Aram (10:23)
     2. A child of Dishan. (36:28)

Uzal
     A son of Joktan. (10:27)
