  2. He lived 969 years, longer than any other character in the Bible (unless you count God).

  5. This woman gave birth to a son when she was in her 90s.

  6. During the battle in the land of Canaan, this king was the leader of the winning side. But later, Abraham and his men attacked him, and defeated him.

  7. He was a son of Abraham, but not the one chosen to continue God's covenant. Nevertheless, he was still a son of Abraham, so God gave him a great country anyway.

  8. His mother gave him this name because she laughed when she was told that she would have a child.

  9. He was one of the twin sons of Rebekah. Although he was one of twins, he was born the one born first. So technically, he was the "older" child.

  11. Jacob served Laban for fourteen years in order to marry this woman.

  12. Leah really wanted to give Jacob a son. And she finally did. She was so happy that she gave the son this name. The name is Hebrew for "Look! A son!"

  13. Jacob's only daughter.

  14. He lived in Egypt. He started off as a slave. But he ended up as a viceroy, in charge of all the food.

  15. Joseph had eleven brothers. Most of them were half-brothers. (They all had the same father, but different mothers.) But there was one exception. Joseph did have one brother who was a full brother, in which they both had the same mother and father. This was the name of Joseph's only full brother.

Part 2: Places

  2. This was a city of Philistines. Abimelech was the king of the city. Both Abraham and Isaac visited it at separate times.

  6. Jacob went to this city to visit Laban. Eventually, he married there. And all but one of his children were born there.
